Secret Garden Child

It took my life time
to learn: our inner child
must find – needs – safe
kinder garden space
for life beyond conflict.

The other Freud knew:
Anna fled home on crystal night-
mare eve for safety, then
set up kindergarten
living space in London.

So sad – that more don't
learn to act with grace:
to free and not restrain
the post-trauma child. Yes.

escape. Then we need to
give them space to dig -
free to tend their own
secret garden story.
