Please join A Chorus of Women at a short event to announce the inaugural Festival for Peace.
The Festival for Peace will be held in the Albert Hall from 28 April – 2 May, featuring the world premiere of A Passion for Peace and five days of forums, conversations, displays, storytelling and concerts.
A Passion for Peace is a new community oratorio by Glenda Cloughley, with musical direction by Johanna McBride. Celebrating the centenary of the International Congress of Women, The Hague, 28 April–1 May 1915 when over 1200 women from warring and neutral nations gathered to discuss how to end the First World War and create conditions for a sustainable peace.
